Yoga is an ancient mind-body medicine based on a system of movements developed to harmonize the body, mind and spirit. The practice of yoga makes the body strong and flexible, and will also aid in the overall functioning of the respiratory, circulatory, digestive and hormonal systems.  

Physical and Emotional Benefits of Yoga:

Class Description:

Vinyasa Flow
This fun, flowing class combines postures and sequences from various styles of yoga. With a flowing sequence of yoga postures linking breath and movement, you'll cultivate awareness while building core strength and flexibility in a safe and supportive environment. This class will teach you how to "go with the flow" and prepare you for more advanced vinyasa and power vinyasa classes.

Hatha Yoga
Hatha (sun/moon) means balance between opposing forces.  Yoga means to yoke, or to join two things together.  Hence hatha yoga is meant to join together sun energy (masculine, active) with moon energy (feminine, receptive), thus providing balance and greater power in an individual.

Emphasis in these classes is on improving strength and detoxifying/purifying the body through deliberate movement (asanas) and attention to posture and awareness of breathing.

Instructors create a class that is adaptable to the abilities and needs of each student.  All experience levels are welcome.

We understand that each student is unique and comes to yoga with different goals and needs. Whether you are coming to get in better physical condition or simply stop the chaos of your mind, there is a style of yoga that is right for you. From beginners to the advance, you will be able to find a class that suits your skill level.  We have a unique yoga studio and specially selected instructors to help empower you to get the most out of your care. Our sessions are open to the public so it is very convenient to include friends and family.  Please check our clinic calendar for upcoming classes.

Yoga Basics
This is the perfect place for a beginner to start learning the nuts and bolts of yoga. Geared to the beginning student and those returning to yoga, these classes focus on basic yoga postures and techniques that can be applied to practically any style of yoga. Breathing techniques, supportive postures, body alignment and yoga philosophy will be introduced.
